There is growing need for Uber and Lyft alternatives. Most of you know, that when the weather is bad or your pick up is very early morning, you cannot rely on Uber and Lyft. In these situations, unavailability and price surging to the roof is typical for the rideshare players. Despite that, most of their clients keep on using them. Hope this week’s events will change their mind and clients will look for Uber and Lyft alternatives.
The Latest Event That Should Make You Search For Uber And Lyft Alternatives
Once again, Uber and Lyft- the multi billion rideshare companies left passengers stranded at O’hare and Midway airports during the biggest snowstorm in Chicago.
The two largest public rideshare companies proved once again that they have nothing to do with helping passengers move from point A to point B. Although they claim to contribute to society, the two giants once again failed. When passengers needed them the most, their “independent contractors” preferred to take the night off and stay warm. Even the surge in rates could not make their drivers work.
Is that a surprise?! What do you expect from Toyotas or Hondas with inexperienced drivers?! Some of their Rideshare drivers don’t know how to drive even during nice weather. Or they get lost in Chicago during the day. Staying home and hiding like mice might actually be the smartest thing Uber and Lyft did. Can you imagine if clients actually got in their cars on February 15th and 16th of 2021. Many of them would have ended up in the ER.
With flights cancelled or delayed, travelers needed a reliable car service to go from O’hare and Midway to hotels and residencies. Some even wanted to ride hundreds of miles to get to their destinations. Once again, Uber and Lyft were not there for them. Someone else was.
Your Best Uber and Lyft Alternative- Chief Chicago Limo
Chief Chicago Limo To The Rescue
Chief Chicago Limo and its hero-drivers tried to accommodate many of the stranded passengers. We took as many last minute requests as we could and did not even think to charge the clients extra! Chief Chicago Limo does not work for the investors. We work for the riders.
Smartly we scheduled only SUVs to work during the snowstorm. All equipped with new tires and 4-wheel drive, made the riders feel safe, comfortable and less stressed. Our professional chauffeurs plowed through the 10+ inches of snow on highways and local streets.
We don’t usually execute on demand car services. But there were people who really needed help that night. Between the flight delays, we kept our limo drivers busy with the last minute requests. Despite the ice and snow on our vehicles, their interior was perfectly cleaned and sanitized. We had to sooth the clients after the stressful day they had and make them feel cozy.
Places We Went
Our SUV Chicago Limo service went from O’hare and Midway to hotels in Downtown and Rosemont, IL. A couple of our chauffeurs went to Madison and Milwaukee Wisconsin. One client booked a limo service to Indianapolis, another to Iowa City. Despite the increased driving time, we did not charge a dime more. Instead, we relied that after passengers reached their final destination, they will throw in some extra to our limo drivers. And they all did for which all our chauffeurs are very grateful.
We also took care of all our prearranged rides to the North Shore, North and West Suburbs. Unlike Uber and Lyft, we did not leave anyone stranded. That’s what well maintained fleet and professional and experienced chauffeurs do.
Definitely The Time For Rideshare Alternatives Has Come
Chief Chicago Limo is hoping that this and similar events will make the rideshare clients realize the reliability of a top rated limousine and car service company. People start looking for Uber and Lyft alternatives. Spend your money where somebody really cares about you.
If government eases the regulations we have, our Chicago airport transportation can be made even more affordable. However, that looks impossible for now. But still, $20-$30 more is definitely worth it.
Chief Chicago Limo welcomes and thanks all our loyal patrons who trust us with their ground transportation needs in Chicago. We also invite the Uber and Lyft customers we helped to come back and book a limo in Chicago with us again.
P.S. A message to UBER investors and Lyft investors: If you invest your money in a business which really cares about customers, the world would be a better place.
